Here you can experience a medieval town, and the 1000 years old " Reichsburg" Castle, leisure center with indoor (wave machine) and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, and Kinderland; a chairlift to an animal parc with a large playground; boat trips on the Mosel River, and steep vineyards. Trier, Luxembourg, Koblenz, and the Nuerburgring auto race track , the crater lakes of the volkanic Eifel are all within an hour's drive. The castles of Metternich, Pyrmont, Thurant and the famous Burg Eltz Castles are nearby.
